Unplug and Unwind for 4 days and 3 nights on our rejuvenating Yoga & Sailing weekend departing from Airlie Beach, Whitsundays.

As winter begins to creep in around southern Australia, retreat to the Whitsundays for sunshine. Run by experienced yoga instructors and mother-daughter duo, Frani and Ayla Wilde, this 4 day sailing retreat will put you back in touch with nature as you set sailing around the Whitsunday Islands.

With a combined international teaching experience of 17 years, Frani is also a talented physiotherapist of 30 years and ayurvedic health coach (among many other talents!), and Ayla has been teaching on workshops and retreats internationally over the last 5 years.

In our fast-paced world, it is so important to slow down and reconnect with your body, mind and the natural world.

We are so excited to bring you this restorative and regenerative experience.

Below you will find an example itinerary – please note this is subject to weather and tides. But trust us, Ayla has been sailing, teaching and guiding people around the Whitsundays for the last 4 years so no matter what we do, it will be equally as amazing. The company we have partnered with (Prosail Whitsundays) are also the best in the business for knowing the perfect balance of adventure and relaxing.

Day 1

0930 – Arrive at check in for welcome + 30 min yoga
1030 – 30 Depart Coral Sea Marina
1100 – Set sail to Cid Harbour on Long Island. Use this time to get to know each other, each of these souls has something unique to offer!
1200 – Lunch on board the boat
1300 – Hike up Whitsunday Peak, the tallest peak! Incredible views over the islands
1530 – Free time. Read a book, go for a wander, or have a nap in the sun. Whatever your heart desires.
1700 – Afternoon yoga on the beach as you watch the sun lower behind the islands
1800 – Return to boat for more free time before dinner
2000 – Guided relaxation

Day 2

0630 Breakfast on board as we journey to Whitehaven
0830 Morning yoga at Whitehaven before exploring Hill Inlet Lookout and North Whitehaven
1200 – Return to the boat for Lunch as we motor to South Whitehaven
1300 – Free afternoon, choose from multiple bushwalks/hikes or simply lay and reset in the turqiuose waters of the best beach in the world!
1600 – Introduction to Ayurveda and digestive yoga
1830 – Dinner on board
1930 – Breath and meditation session

Day 3

0600 – Sunrise yoga overlooking all 7kms of South Whitehaven
0800 – After a post-yoga swim, return to the boat for breakfast as we set sail for the outer Great Barrier Reef
1200 – Plenty of chill time on our journey to the reef: relax, get to know each other more, or use this time to learn more from Frani and Ayla
1300 – After lunch, snorkel the incredible underwater oasis of the World Heritage Listed GBR.
1600 – Ayurvedic cooking class with Frani
1830 – Watch the sun set over the ocean with stunning panoramic views
2000 – Guided meditation and relaxation post dinner

Day 4

0600 – Watch the sunrise from the outer reef. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of calm that washes over you.
0630 – An early breakfast before setting sail back to the islands
1030 – explore Langford Island, a sand spit that is only exposed on low tide. Optional walk or yoga
1200 – Lunch on board as we head to South Molle Island
1300 – Our all time favourite hike! Very easy and oh so stunning.
1500 – Time to return to Airlie Beach after an incredible 4 days exploring the Whitsunday Islands.

This four day sailing and yoga retreat in the Whitsundays is designed for you. Do as much or as little as you like, but return to land feeling rejuvenated and reconnected to nature and all it’s beauty.

Investment: $1,450.00

Deposit of $250.00 payable upon booking, with the balance of $1,200.00 payable 2 weeks prior. All payments are fully refundable if travel is limited due to COVID restrictions. Price is all inclusive of food, bedding, yoga mat, filtered water and snorkelling equipment. Please note accom is not luxury, you’re sleeping in an open area below deck but it’s very comfortable and unique. There are limited spaces available and it is an all vegetarian menu.
