Yoga is like coming home.
It’s opening the door to a space so soft, so grounding, so safe and so familiar, that your whole being exhales.
Your shoulders inch away from your ears, your heartbeat steadies, your breath deeps – and your inner flame dances.
This is what yoga offers: a return from your mind, to yourself.
A place of balance, stillness, and peace within.
Do you want to find your way home, too?

About Ayla Wilde
I guess my yoga story is similar to many. I embarked on my YTT journey for me – to overcome some pretty impressive mental health challenges, and came out a different woman. Or I guess you could say, I found myself again. I felt like I had to share what I experienced, so I started teaching.
I’ve studied Dru Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga for Fascia, Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda… the list goes on. I learn a little more about myself each time.
10 years on, my mum and I run retreats together internationally. It’s pretty special.

“It is better to live your dharma [life purpose] imperfectly, than another’s perfectly.”

“I held off writing a review as I could not fathom putting a journey such as this into words. I feel deep gratitude towards Ayla for this whole immersive experience. I feel wholesome, rejuvenated and ready to make some small changes to everyday life.”
Elyce, NSW
Ayla has been visiting me at home for one or two sessions weekly and she has worked wonders. I have some problems with balance and coordination, following a fall last year, along with some increasing neurological challenges. Her approach is entirely tailored to my personal needs and my mental state on the day. The combination of gentle yoga movement and breathing, mindfulness, and just plain honest loveliness means I wake up looking forward to her arrival and, after an hour working with Ayla, I feel tranquil, happy and more myself. And my balance is now better than it has been for ages. (or: my balance is now better than my husbands!). A heartfelt thanks to her. A very special lady.
